Artist Lofts Pre-Leasing
Northside Artist Lofts is a newly renovated, 25-unit affordable housing community located in a historic building in North Minneapolis, designed specifically with artists in mind. We offer flexible 2- and 3-bedroom live/work units for a close-knit community of doers, dreamers, and achievers. As part of our mission to support creatives, Northside Artist Lofts provides Artist Preference Housing—prioritizing individuals actively engaged in visual arts, performance, music, writing, design, cultural work, and other creative fields. All are welcome to apply; preference is given in accordance with program guidelines.

As part of our mission to support artists and culture workers, Northside Artist Lofts offers Artist Preference Housing—giving priority consideration to individuals actively engaged in creative fields. This includes, but is not limited to, visual artists, performers, writers, designers, musicians, educators, and culture bearers. While all are welcome to apply, applicants who meet the artist preference criteria may be prioritized in the leasing process in accordance with program guidelines.
We believe artists deserve safe, intentional spaces to live, build, and contribute meaningfully to their communities—and that’s exactly what we’re creating here in historic North Minneapolis.

The Process
After submitting your rental application for Northside Artist Lofts, you’ll receive a brief artist preference form to complete. Our team will carefully review your information and contact you with next steps if you qualify for preference consideration.
